Grass-leaf arrowhead had been growing in shallow water of Ponkapoag Pond and found itself in the mud during the late-summer drought of 2007. It is a delicate, slender plant whose leaf blade may be variously developed, ranging from 3.5 cm wide to completely bladeless petioles.
