A huge genus Eupatorium that once contained more than 500 species has been revised, many species reclassified to other, more natural genera, such as Ageratina . Plants in Ageratina have involucres with subimbricate phyllaries arranged in two rows. There are 9-35 perfect flowers in a single head.
