All of the trees we found in 2006 on Hancock Hill slope appeared to belong to the same generation and displayed the same weak growing pattern, except some few that reached the height of 7-8 m. One was even taller than that! Of course, it was not anything like its kin on the western coast that can grow to 100 m, yet its estimated height was 12 m, and the diameter (DBH) 15 cm.
