January 16 of 2006 was extremely windy in Boston. The wind reached the speed of 50 mph, and many large trees were broken. Due to this tremendous blow we were able to wind up with some nice trophies when we went out hunting a couple days later--including this upper pitch-pine branch with mature fresh cones.
