Profuse flowering at an inundated kettle-pond margin. Lance-leaf violet is both rhizomatous and stoloniferous--as well as other white-flowered acaulescent violets in our area, such as V. primulifolia, V. macloskeyi ssp. pallens, or V. blanda.
