The flora of Massachusetts embraces about three thousand species of vascular plants including non-natives. Only about half of those have been recorded for eastern Massachusetts (estimate based on Sorrie and Somers 1999). As of today, the gallery contains 9695 photos of 1097 species. We have published photos of 444 species from the Blue Hills Reservation, 307 species from Myles Standish State Forest, 165 species from Stony Brook Reservation, 176 species from Middlesex Fells Reservation, 154 species from Cutler Park.

Other photographs are mostly from southeastern Massachusetts with only some few from the north and west.
