The flora of Massachusetts embraces about three thousand species of vascular plants including non-natives. Only about half of those have been recorded for eastern Massachusetts (estimate based on Sorrie and Somers 1999). As of today, the gallery contains 7199 photos of 931 species. We have published photos of 414 species from the Blue Hills Reservation, 230 species from Myles Standish State Forest, 166 species from Stony Brook Reservation, 133 species from Middlesex Fells Reservation, 79 species from Cutler Park.

Other photographs are mostly from southeastern Massachusetts with only some few from the north and west.
